Actor, Singer, Dancer
Everyone calls me Katy. I'm a professionally trained actor, singer, and dancer based in the New York City and Philadelphia areas (AEA). But I’m a Kentucky girl at heart, y’all. I’ve tackled a range of pivotal roles for major Philadelphia musical theater productions, collaborated with indie film companies on widely-viewed projects, and have lent my voice to a national commercial campaign for DairyPure.
I grew up in the “The Quilt Capital of the World,” a small Kentucky town called Paducah. As a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, I hold a B.F.A. in Musical Theater, a B.A. in French, and a deep appreciation for the fearless, ambitious women in my home communities who shaped my creativity. They’re the reason why I'm drawn to dynamic female characters, whether they're packaged as sweet small town souls, flawed superheroes, or unrelenting boardroom forces.
When I'm not acting, I’m dancing (salsa, bachata, zouk), reading and translating salacious French magazine articles, writing songs, baking anything with chocolate, and learning nostalgic 90’s hits on bass guitar.
